Studio Guidelines & Policies

Lessons

Lessons are given once a week. This is the time the student demonstrates skills and concepts and assignments from past lessons. As the new year begins you want to set that practice period for your child. Try to keep it consistent each day for the best results. Please do not wait for the week of recitals or exams to cram everything into several days. Students will be given goal dates for their recital and exam pieces.

Fees

The lesson fee is due the first week of each month. The lesson fee remains the same from September to June. This includes school breaks, holidays, and personal vacations. The material fee covers exam fees and studio materials. This fee is due at the beginning of study each year. Music and instruction books are not covered in this fee. There is a $30.00 fee for returned checks.

Cancelled/Missed Lessons

If you need to change or cancel a lesson time please call within in 24 hours. Make-up lessons will be given when there is space in the schedule. There are No refunds or pro-rated fees for missed lessons. All decisions are made by the teacher. You are allowed 2 make-up lessons during the year. Lessons changed by the teacher will be made up.

Materials

All students are required to have a binder, assignment book, metronome, book bag, and a thumb drive if you are doing the Clavanova Festivals.
